Thousands of accidents occur throughout the United States every day. The failure of people, equipment, supplies, or surroundings to behave or react as expected causes most of them. Accident investigations determine how and why these failures occur. By using the information gained through an investigation by  a private investigator you will have the facts you need to provide to your attorney or insurance company or to simply determined what happened and why. Any type of accident can be investigated and reconstructed to determine a cause. Accident types can range from automobile, slip and fall, workplace accidents or even off-road accidents. Regardless of the type there are certain protocols and investigation techniques common to all types of  reconstruction and investigation.

·Accident Reconstruction - Whether it's a motor vehicle collision, heavy vehicle roll-over, recreational boating incident, pedestrian involvement, slip and fall or a workplace accident, to name but a few, the principals of investigation and reconstruction remain fundamental. Our engineers have numerous tools available to them to reconstruct the accident and analyze the case to provide answers to the pertinent questions such as what was the speed involved, what were the weather conditions like etc. Accident reconstruction investigations determine not only what happened, but also how and why.

·Accident Investigation - Most accident investigations follow a research technique called the scientific method. This method involves gathering and analyzing facts and developing hypotheses to explain these facts. Each hypothesis must be tested against the facts, and the most probable explanation of the accident needs to be determined. Any one of several problem solving techniques based on this approach will be used. Witness may even be located and interviewed. An investigation is not complete however, until completion of a final report.

·Accident Report - An accident investigation is not complete until a report is prepared and submitted to proper authorities or parties involved. Such reports are often very elaborate and may include a cover page, a title page, an abstract, a table of contents, a commentary or narrative portion, a discussion of probable causes, and a section on conclusions and recommendations.
