On average, more than 800,000 people are reported as missing and are entered into FBI's National Crime Information Center (NCIC) annually. Of these, 85%-90% are minors. These statistics do not include those who are unofficially missing, such as those who have not been reported as missing persons or those that wish to disappear.

A critical issue in a missing person investigation is that the term missing persons is so narrow. Law Enforcement will normally only begin an official search for a missing child once a specific amount of time has passed after the child was last seen - and by that time, it may be too late if the child has been kidnapped. Police are also reluctant to search for people who voluntarily left home or for those who do not want to be found.

If you are a person who wants real answers - real fast - then you need to hire a private investigator. A professional investigator will start looking for someone as soon as you feel uneasy and will continue to search as long as you are still looking for answers. And if you are worried about someone's whereabouts and want to locate someone who is not easy to find, a qualified missing persons investigator will be able to use advanced techniques to help find the person you are looking for.

Types of missing persons cases we investigate:

·Runaway - Any child who is voluntarily missing.

·Stranger Abduction - A missing person taken/kidnapped by a stranger. (Includes cases of a know abductor who is not a family member)

·Lost - Any missing person who has strayed away and their whereabouts are unknown.

·Suspicious Circumstances - Any circumstance that makes a person believe that foul play could be involved; the disappearance for the person is out of character for them, and no reason for their disappearance can be determined.

·Parent/Family Abduction - A child who has been taken, detained, concealed, enticed away, or retained by a parent, or non-parent family member.

·Dependant Adult - This is an adult who has physical or mental limitations such as Alzheimer’s or mentally handicapped.

·Voluntary Missing Adult - A missing adult who has left on their own free will.

·Unknown Missing - And person, child or adult, who is thought to be missing, but there are not enough facts to determine the cause.

·Catastrophic Missing - Any missing person, child or adult, that is missing as a result of a disaster (i.e. plane crash, fire, flood, etc)
